Has anyone taken Reglan during pregnancy for nausea? Went to my OBGYN (saw the on-call today) and she gave me Reglan instead of Zofran. After coming home with it and reading side effects I am nervous. Depression (mild to severe), Drowsiness, Fatigue, Restlessness and may cause symptoms similar to those of Parkinson's disease, such as slow movements, rigidity, tremor, or a mask-like facial appearance. SO SCARED OF THIS NOW!!

try eating fresh ginger in a salad, drinking ginger tea, or use sea bands.

I've taken it many many times, but not during pregnancy, but NEVER had any of those side effects. I did take Zofran during pregnancy...why didnt' they give you Zofran?

i would go back to the dr. and ask for zofran. i took zofran while i was pregnant, and it made me feel so much better. That was the only thing that worked for me. my dr. would prescribe phenergan suppositories and i told him it didnt work. i found that i didnt have to take it everyday, i would take it every other day. I hope you feel better.

Agghh! I should have just waited until my own OBGYN was in the office but I haven't eaten in days s they wanted me in ASAP. Reglan.. not looking like something I want to take. Wow.

i know exactly how you feel. i was literally in the hospital every week because i was so dehydrated. i tried all the natural stuff and the crackers and ginger, but none of that worked for me. How far along are you? mine stopped when i was about 6 months pregnant

I was super sick with my kids and they prescribed Reglan, I didn't have any side effects, but it didn't work. I kept saltines by the bed and ate several before my feet even hit the floor in the morning and ate a few more before I went to bed. Also, you might already be doing this but I took my prenatals at night before I went to bed. They seemed to make me less sick that way. Ginger snaps helped me a little but I'm like you, basically, I just stayed sick the first 3 months.
