Our Mission:
MyKidsCounty.org, Inc. offers families an engaging place to interact with one another through a personalized online community. We strive to provide the parents of this online community with the most thorough and comprehensive listing of local resources, events, activities and classes available within their own county. We hope to connect these families with old friends, or with new ones, so that together they can enjoy all of these wonderful events going on around them.
Our goal to local advertisers is to offer a low cost platform to reach our parent based community members, thus helping their own family friendly businesses thrive.

We are a blessed and blended family of five. My husband Steven & I met in 2001 in Coral Springs, FL when my first son Richard was 6 years old. About four years after we met, we were married and immediately begin expanding our family. We decided together that I would give up my career and raise our growing family, so I took the job offer of “Stay At Home Mom”. Our son Angelo was born 11 months after we said “I do” …. and 14 months after Angelo arrived, our son Derek was born.
From the moment we gave birth to Angelo, we faced challenges that lead us through a maze of different diagnoses and treatments and ultimately into the world of Special Needs and Autism in particular. We found the world we were living in to be quite confusing and frustrating at times, and we turned to the internet to help us make sense of it all. Along the way, we found websites that gave us places to connect with others going through similar situations that we could talk to and share our stories with. We found resource websites that could tell us what was going on in our area for our children, and other sites that we could use to stay in touch with our family and friends that gave them a window into our life through profiles and photos.
When we thought that having three extremely energetic boys was about all we could handle, we chose to use different websites to sell our baby items that we would no longer need. Then, when we decided to look to find childcare help in our home, we turned to a few more websites to find the right fit for our family needs. It was then that we thought about how wonderful it would be to have all of this information in one place... and MyKidsCounty.org was born! We have created the newest online community, where you’ll find all of your parenting resource needs, “From tummy to teen, and every stage in-between”.
